Multiple oil ingredient assure high quality end product to be rich lathering and emollient liquid soaps, as oil bases of this paste it provides clear liquid soap when diluted in distilled water. Canola and Soybean oil adds body and pure orange oil for additional cleansing power and fresh scent of the soap (although when diluted and scented, the natural scent of orange dissipates). Safflower oil provide vitamin E. as our oil use have 20% more enrich with vitamin E. Castor oil enhance lathering as well as emollient. Coconut oil added cleansing and added richness. Sunflower oil also provides clear and thick liquid soap. This base paste is pH adjusted to 8~10 range, but can re-adjust as needed for specific pH. Borax, Sodium Borate, Citric acid and Lactic acid can be use to adjust pH. For thick and clearer end product, we recommend using Sodium Borate and Citric acid. Once finish product comes hazy, a little isopropyl alcohol can also clear up haziness. Or we can recommend our Sequestrant1.
This base can be diluted from 1:1 ratio for a very thick liquid soap 1:2 ratio will produce (very) thick shower gel or body wash 1:3 ratio make it shampoo and 1:4 ratio will be rich hand soap.
Instruction for diluting: Must boil distilled water to dilute the paste. Once distilled water boils, turn the heat off. Microwave paste in 30 second increment until it reach at least 140ºF (depending on the microwave using, it should watch closely while warming the paste since microwave wattage greatly varies and can boil over the paste) before adding to boiled distilled water.
Using hand blender or stick blender (as some called it) blend paste to water intermittently every few second until all paste lumps disappear making sure thick liquid is smooth before sequestering. If using fragrance oil and/or dye, add fragrance & dye when the liquid soap is smooth but still warm. Cover container securely and sequester soap at least 24hrs to free-up tiny bubbles. It should clear up the liquid soap by that time, for some reason it may take up to three days. ~ Some people use super fatting additive like sulfonated castor oil, but we do not test our natural liquid soap base with this. Others use sodium lactate to thicken our liquid soap if or once they add too much distilled water. Complete instructions included with every order. Huge discounts for distributors.
